Such a beautifully written post as always! I absolutely agree with you that, especially in menswear, the reinterpretation of basics has been quite in vogue lately, and I couldn't be happier with the results... *-* Often, my favourite pieces are those where the re-thinking of the garment consists on a couple of very subtle changes or improvements that merely change the mood or sensation these garments convey, rather than more exaggerated modifications, more visible to the naked eye.
